Who is eTAP? HK.eTAP.Org ?
Answer: e-TAP – a California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation. Its website: www.etap.org. For over 15 years specialized in assisting students around the world to do pre-test and practice test to achieve best result at final exams.
eTAP’s contents are engineered to effectively help native English speaking students and also students who have difficulty speaking English as their second language.
eTAP has been serving USA and ten other countries in the past 15 years and it is now opened to serve China and Canada.

How is eTAP designed to Increase Student Success?
eTAP is specifically designed to ensure success by enabling students to maximize learning time and effort and focus on the essentials of what they need to know and be able to do.
Here are some key features and benefits:
- eTAP covers K12; a total of 48 courses and
- University entry exam prep programs. Such as: IELTS, GED, SAT, ACT, ASVAAB
- All practice questions and tests are scored immediately by software upon submission. Each student’s learning and progression is auto recorded every time when the student signs in. This has made monitoring students study an easy and accurate task for the teacher, school & parents
- The text has been measured by the Microsoft reading level tool to be at or below grade level. This means the text uses short sentences and words.
- eTAP combines easy-to-understand primer style instruction with questions released from standardized tests.
- Pre-tests allow students to focus on what they need to learn.
- Instructional units are short to allow students to easily master the content.
- A variety of learning resources are provided so each student can select those that best fit.

II. If you are considering to do home schooling or already doing the home schooling, then Great News to you that, by using eTAP alone, you will graduate and receive a diploma from a California private school Pacific International Academy which is an extension of eTAP service. You are required to pass each subject’s midterm and final exam that must be completed in addition to the pre, practice and post test for each lesson. As we know, California and Taxes are the two states among 50 states stand out for the highest education standards.

When Vice Principal Randy Reid, from Grossmont Union High School District Alternative Education Programs began using eTAP for the school population of 500 to prepare their at-risk and second-language learners for the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE), the results were extremely positive.The pass rate for the eTAP preparation class was 86%. In the previous year, the pass rate for students not using eTAP was only 30%:

We have used e-tap for both of my daughters, age 14 nd 8 for two years now and we have found it the easiest program to follow. I have taught in the public schools for 13 years before and have a MA in Education with an emphasis on curriculum and instruction. I have many years of experience evaluating curricula and searching for curricula to meet the needs of individual students. Many times online curricula have been very frustrating because the companies make the mistake of thinking that “more is better” when it is just “more stuff”. Effectively meeting standards is lost among the loads of “busywork” or even worse, the program has so many techno glitches that it is a frustrating waste of time for both the instructor and the student. Last year we were required to use an ineffective program like that in order to earn HS credit for biology. Luckily, e-tap was much easier to follow and focusing on your program was much more effective to study and pass the EOC tests here in Washington State than the required program. The notes from the required program were useless to study for the Exam even though my daughter earned an A in biology. Etap was much easier to follow. Being able to simply take pretests and posttests and print them out provides a clear record of progress through the material and the links are navigated to follow the objective so we don’t have to search for outside material. Using e-tap is the most efficient use of our time towards meeting the standards.

eTAP Assessment/Review Exam & Assessment/Review Exam:
www.etap.org provides an Assessment/Review Exam for each subject and grade level. eTAP A/R Exam may be used as a placement or review test and to prepare students for end of term exams and standardized tests. After completing the A/R Exam, students will know which lessons they need to study to complete their understanding and increase their Success.
